San Kazakgascar is a beautiful country with beautiful people. It's origins are a blend of Byzantine/Eurasian civilizations and 18th century colonialism. After much turmoil in the 20th century, the people of Kazakgascar feel they're getting a fresh start with the end of the 3rd World War.

Kazakgascar's major exports include copper, wheat, textiles, and comedy. The House of Lords: Jed Brewer, Greg Hain, Paul Takushi, and Mike Woo.

Greetings From Beautiful San Kazakgascar ricochets between rhythmic chant parties and Eastern-dipped drone. Its lyrical obsession with topography is backed by the woodwind's reverberations off of steep canyon walls. The band's poppy art-rock psychedelia steals ideas from the world over, especially Central and Southern Asia. Live, San Kazakgascar has played with Neung Phak, The Dead Science, Pink Reason, Barbara Manning, Sic Alps, Sword Heaven, and Dead Western.

San Kazakgascar formed in Sacramento in the fall of 2006. Vocalist/guitarist Jed Brewer, percussionist Paul Takushi, bassist Greg Hain had been operating as double agents for Carquinez Straits. The band has since been joined by clarinet specialist Mike Woo. San Kazakgascar is a hypothetical nation state riding a wave of newfound optimism following World War lll.
