We are extremely excited to be one of the only places carrying the music of POM.  This cd is one of the best we have to offer.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!  (LISTEN BELOW)

"PYRAMIDS ON MARS the revolution,  or revelation completely reinvents the hardcore genres of the past three decades, utilizing recently designed exotic electric stringed instruments and by drawing almost exclusively on Eastern and tribal styles.  The result, a primitive assault on large drums along with sitars, ouds and cellos being propelled into Marshall amplifiers to accompany earthy and dirgy chants and raggas employed by an attacking tribal army. "Gazing out to us the enigmatic face on the desolate Cydonian plains, now Earth will never be the same."

PYRAMIDS ON MARS was conceived in January 98 by Martin Kvisvic (Marz). The bulk of 1998 was spent building and developing the new instruments which would be necessary for this new sound. These include solid body electric sitar stick (long sitar), two cello sticks, electric dulcimer, oud and bouzookie. By the Summer of 1998 project material was being written. By the end of 98 the material was recorded for the first two Pyramids releases.

In 1999 Marz was without the original musicians who were on the first two releases and most of the year was spent looking for suitable players to make a working unit for live performance.

The new musical unit was finally established after countless auditions and initial changes in lineup by early 2000 which is to be the core of the ever-evolving PYRAMIDS OW MARS.
