15 Degrees Below Zero: from San
Francisco: 15 DEGREES BELOW ZERO is a three member group utilizing guitar,
keyboards, laptops, samplers, effects and various other sundry items to
create a form of music referred to by Phil Easter of Malignant Antibody as
"cinematic isolationism". Like others in the CI
field, 15DBZ mixes traditional elements of ambient and
noise/drone/loop/sample-based industrial and presents it with a strong
introspective/cinematic/epic (movie-like) feel. Forthcoming by this
project is a CD EP on Crunch Pod Media and a full length CD on the above
mentioned Antibody label.

Squeak Toy
Art Punk......... Squeak Toy is an amalgamation of
everything sonic in this world. It also has other arts folded into it, like
the dramatic arts, dance, and performance. Squeak Toy is not your average
white band. Squeak Toy is a rock-en-espanol band that sings in English.
Squeak Toy is something to be experienced, not just heard.

Experimental Spaz-Rockers..............The
Wedding's Off was the name taken by a loose collective of thinkers and
artists in post-WWI Bucharest. No, wait...The Wedding's Off is the closest
English translation of the title of an ancient Pictish philosophical tract.
Wait, wait, I think this is it...The Wedding's Off is a phrase biologists
use to describe the mating habits of the goblin shark...Dammit...Okay, here
it is: The Wedding's Off...four people trying to sound like an
orchestra...dance music for forgotten dances...folk music for a folk who
never existed...the things you hear as your car collides with a
streetlight...

STAR WARS MOCKUMENTARY (film screening) by director Damon Packard
Damon Packard presents
his latest way fucked up trash on Hollywood: The Star Wars Mocumentary. See
what the celebs have said about his brilliant film: "Reflections
of Evil" "Watched the DVD, thanks for sending. There are moments
of the movie that were really gripping. The plainclothes cop scene was
amazing and the trip through down town with the Carpenter's song playing
was the worst acid trip I have ever seen on film. The dog scene was
nothing short of genius. As far as all your references to Speilberg, fuck
it, you're way more interesting and intense than that fuckin guy." Henry
Rollins
I saw it and I didn't like it. I
considered it harassment that you sent it to my home address multiple
times - these things are usually sent to agents. It creeped me out to
receive this type of mail at home - I try to keep my home address as
private as possible. I didn't like the movie and I didn't like your
wise-ass letter. I'm a supporter of independent and cult films being in
many of them myself. This marketing approach is going to hurt you in this
town, not help you. I'm pissed off. Knock it off and please do not respond
to this e-mail.- Jim
Belushi

SOma is a melancholy tip-toe trip through the poppies and tulips.
Never-ending swirling anti-guitars bleeding through a dusty fucked up
world of effects." www.hop-frog.com/SansSoma
