Dung Mummy is an ANTI-fascist experimental arts institution hosted by the hop-frog kollectiv.  It is our goal to give artists a voice and platform that would otherwise be shunned by the Los Angeles/Hollywood  matrix of hell-hole politics and depressing, self-confidence bleaching antics.  We are dedicated to political dissent, artistic revolution and experimental realization.  We have no submission policy for art, poetry or music performances.  You only need to be an artist that is not part of the global scam.  If you want to hang your art, play your music, read your poetry or whatever you do... you are welcome.

Dung Mummy is now located at Il Corral in Silverlake.  We were at The Salvation Theatre previously and then they shut it down, some say the landlord was getting greedy others say there was an anti-bush play there and the cops raided it.....all i know is now it's a hip baby clothing store now.  it also sat right across from the memorial for the inventor of the bedpan (which happens to be in the smallest park I've ever seen).  Of course the memorial itself is a giant bedpan fountain.....  We used to take tour groups  over to see the fountain..one day MM fell in...The theatre itself was a simple black box theater with stage, seating and a front bar area... all kinds of dark stuff went on there, lots of drinking......... but the most amazing part was always the comradeship of all the artists sharing with each other on these special evening, painters and sculptors hung their work, filmmakers showed their films and musician created sound...  In fact some of the best shows I've ever seen happened there and a lot of artists expressed themselves publicly for the first time....
