New EVENTS have been posted.
Four new releases are on their way which will include the West-Coast Post Asiatic compilation, hop-frog's drum jester devotional's "Bets Ov Vol. 1" on CD as well as a 7" and CDR from Refrigerator Mothers.
Due to the frustration of awaiting proper CD releasing a flood of long awaited albums will be out by years end on CDR. Watch for the soon to be re-vamped URCK Records website for complete details.
We also have 1" buttons from DJD, Refrigerator Mothers & HFK available now. Just email us and we'll send you one.

Refrigerator Mothers will have a seven inch vinyl available of the songs Black Moth Scrap Serum and Arab National Anthem in the next few weeks. The edition is limited to 400 (100 each of Transparent Red, Green, Yellow and Blue Vinyl) and hand numbered. The first 50 will include a Polaroid of a kollectiv member (collect them all!). Ordering details will be available shortly.

We hope to have the far prolonged release of Bets Ov, Vol. 1 out by summer's end.

We are currently in a mastering session with Mike Wells (MW Mastering). We are mastering Bets Ov Vol. 1 and plan to have it out DEC05/Jan06.
Just returned from Portland! A glorious show it was. Special thanks to the newest Master Musican, Denise Owens who played guitar with us and violinist Rob Emery. Not to mention all thanks to every beautiful person in Portland: Noah Mickens, Patricia, Renee, Evelyn, 2 Gyrlz, Soriah, B and everyone else who was with us on an unforgettable evening. There's no place like Portland.

The site was down for a few and we're slowly giving it an overhaul...new mp3s and tons of new events will be announced shortly. There's a sketch on the events page..please be patient. We're releasing a new cd by the end of the year on URCK entitled Bets Ov, Volume 1, doing music for a play, touring the east coast (we've toured in Europe twice but have never made it to the colonies, reforming the dung mummy series, wrapping up more unreleased albums, etc. etc. KEEP TUNED.

We have picked up distribution from www.ear-rational.com (search for hop-frog, remember the hyphen) Most of the material we’ve put out is available through the wonderful people at ear-rational. We will be having a cd release show for our 1st 2 cd releases “the silk road” and “chants de sewage” in late February or early March with some very special people.
In other news Mr. Morelock aka e.loi is flying to Paris Saturday (Christmas Day) to spend time with are friends in France. We wish him well through his long journey. To all of you happy hooligans we wish you HAPPY HOOLIDAYS.

AHhhhh. 1st show sucked we couldn't hear ourselves and the sound man would not turn up our monitors. He said he didn't trust us. You can't trust a Rock n Roll venue.

hop-frog was on the radio tonight in ontario, canada. the radio show is "tower of tongues" hosted by kyle legate. mr. legate is possibly the first person to receive our cd and has put us on the radio for the first time. you can listen to "tower of tongues" thursday 10:30 - 11:30 EDT here. it seems he will be playing more "silk road" in the coming weeks as well as other great experimental music. thanks mr. legate!

STILL WAITING FOR OUR STUDIO! AHHHHH!
we've just offered free cdrs to all who wanted one and received a wonderful response. so far we have had 74 responses from all over the world including places like austria, hungary, yugoslovia, isreal, finland, etc. it's a really great feeling to be sending hop-frog cds around the world for free. we all worked on nonsensical covers for the cdrs that will all be found here and began shipping them all out this last weekend. we will finish mailing the rest this coming weekend. if you want a cdr email hop-frog@hop-frog.com. hopefully everyone likes it, if not, oh well we'll keep making more.
joshua tree was amazing. we can't say enough about that place. it spawned hop-frog's nectar tank's bee assassin, hermie's ballad of mary blotter, the illudium recording and much more which will all surface in the future or maybe in the past.

after over a year or of suffering in the moldy grimy dingy no ventilation hellhole of a studio that may have ruined some of our equipment (HOLLYWOOD REHEARSAL, 6330 Hollywood Blvd) we have finally found a new place to call home and will be moving sometime in mid-december. there's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place we loathe.

hop-frog is currently working on three projects, hop-frog's fatwa, hop-frog's euphoric x-ray and hermit the flog's blasphemy street. we will be spending some time this january in joshua tree, california working on these projects.
